Most of us maintain a robust skin care routine in an attempt to delay aging and keep fine lines and wrinkles at bay. But did you know that there are certain facial exercises that can be extremely helpful in keeping skin young and healthy? They not only improve blood circulation, but also make the skin firm and tight.
Here is Pilates trainer Yasmin Karachiwala demonstrating some effective exercises that are a perfect way to reduce wrinkles and further prevent fine lines from forming.
“While the human face is a thing of beauty, maintaining smooth, tight skin frequently becomes an origin of stress with age. If you’ve ever looked for a natural solution to sagging skin, you may be familiar with facial exercises,” Karachiwala said.
Here are the exercises.

The Giraffe

Place the hands on the neck, gently tilt the head back and stroke the hands to the collarbone and repeat. Do this for 10 repetitions.

Benefits: It helps lift and tone under the jaw area.

The Giraffe # 2

Place the hands on the neck, gently tilt the head back and stroke the hands up to the collarbone. Now keep your hands on the collarbone and gently pull it down. Pout your lips as much as you can. Do this for two sets and six reps.
Benefits: It helps strengthen and tone neck muscles

Acupressure point # 3

Using your thumb and two fingers, pinch and release the muscles along the jaw. Relax and repeat three times.
Benefits: This is a great exercise to release any tension around the jaw. Do it regularly.
