Rice flour benefits have been used by women for centuries in different parts of the world to enhance their natural beauty. Rice powder for face can be used for various skin concerns, like whitening, getting rid of acne and blemishes and even dark circles. Rice flour can be combined with various other natural ingredients to prepare packs for glowing skin. Also rice powder for skin can be used daily without any side effects.
1. Rice flour face pack with oats
Rice flour face pack with oats and honey is one of the best ways to ensure skin whitening and brightening. Oats helps in skin lightening by exfoliating dead cells and impurities from the surface and revealing fresh, glowing and flawless skin.
Method: In a bowl mix a tablespoon of rice powder, oats, honey and cold milk and make into a smooth paste. Apply the mixture on the face, gently massaging for 5-10 minutes. Once the mixture dries, wash off with cold water and pat dry. Using this once or twice a week ensures skin brightening with rice powder.
2. Rice Powder With Potato And Yogurt
In this combination, rice powder removes excess oil from the skin, the bleaching properties of potato whiten the skin and yogurt moisturizes the skin.
Method: Mix 1 tablespoon each of rice powder, potato pulp and yogurt. Apply this mixture over the skin and let it rest for 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can also use milk instead of yogurt. Rinse it off with water and pat the skin dry.
3. Rice Powder With Egg White
This combination helps to tighten and close open pores and reduce the production of melamine in the skin.
Method: Mix 3 tablespoons of rice flour, 1 egg white and 1 tablespoon of honey. Apply this mixture over the skin and leave to dry for about 20 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.
4. Rice Flour With Aloe Vera
This combination forms an excellent exfoliating pack which removes dead skin.
Method: Mix 1 tablespoon of rice flour and 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Stir well and apply this pack over the skin and leave it to dry. Rinse off with water.
5. Rice Floue With Green Tea
Green tea is one of the healthiest ingredients for skin and mixing it with rice flour for skin whitening will give efficient and successful results.
Method: In a bowl, put hot water and dip a bag of green tea. Let it brew for 5 mins. mix two tablespoons of rice flour and one teaspoon of lemon juice in it. Apply the mixture on face and leave it to dry for 10-15 minutes. Wash it off with cold water.
6. Rice Floue With Turmeric
Turmeric is a natural antiseptic and helps keep the skin dirt-free while cream conditions the skin from deep within to make it soft on the outside.
Method: In a bowl, mix rice flour, fresh cream and turmeric powder. Apply the mix all over your face and neck area. Leave it to dry for 10-15 minutes before washing it off with cold water.
7. Rice Flour With Cucumber
Rice flour face pack with cucumber has magical properties to keep the skin clean and devoid of acne and pimples. It is very good home remedy for oily skin.
Method: Mix everything together in a bowl. Apply the paste on face and leave it to dry for 15-20 minutes. After the pack has dried, gently wash face with cold water and repeat daily for improved skin texture.
8. Rice flour, milk & saffron face pack
The goodness of milk and saffron not only nourish and condition the skin but also makes it lighter and brighter.
Method: In a bowl, mix rice flour and milk. Add saffron strands and keep it aside for 5-10 minutes. Now apply the paste all over the face and neck area. Let it dry for another 20 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water.
